Maybe graphite powder?
Try the silicone spray first.
Great stuff, non greasy but very slippery, waterproofs & lubricates!

Geee Cue, it was a reasonable question.
Put 6 on the roof, and 6 on the bar!
But face 8 of em' backwards
Or:
Use one spot, and one spread (preferably facing forward).

Or, like someone dragging their fingernails down a blackboard (and just as annoying)?? I lubed the belts, (tried soap) replaced idler pulley bearing, replaced all the belts at the ...

Yea, my 253 HQ gets the same MPG as the Pajero. Three LPG conversion places told me it would be false economy to go to gas. So I didn't.
Having said that, your fuel consumtion sounds really crap!
I get 19.5 MPG, (trip) you work out the metric conversion

G'day Ace. I had the same prob a few weeks ago; This was Bitsamissin's reply. (Edit: See the original here .) "Neil sounds like it is an electrical issue. Most likely the free wheel engage switch either needs replacing or cleaning (bad connection). This is located next to the actuator rod and if you ...

It's unfortunate that no matter how much money ya throw into your car, the value only goes one way, down! :( The other thing is, most people buying a 4WD second hand, look for a Toorak Tractor ("Never been offroad", as the used car salesmen say). Something they know hasn't been bent, drowned and ...

Yea Doug, regardless of the physics involved, it would appear that driver error was the cause of the chain reaction that resulted in the Pajero not being right way up. It looks like Dad wants to blame the vehicle for the accident, and thats just plain wrong! A couple of tons of steel doesn't fall ...

I've got 190Ks+ on mine, and the left rocker cover gasket is leaking to a point that's really bothering me, the smell of oil dripping onto a hot exhaust, not good! Repair has to go on the backburner (NPI) for a while. I've just forked out $1000 for tyres, $900 for water pump & timing belt and my ...

Phil. The welch plug is the cap pressed into the part, to fill the hole/s left by the casting process. I forget what you call them over there, but on the engine they are the caps on the block/heads that leak coolant (usually one of the rear ones, just so you get to pull the engine tranny out to ...

Bitsamissin, thanks for the reply. Am sure it's electrical, as everything is working normally, apart from this disco on the dash. Have got a Gregory's 510, and spent yesterday (Monday) tracing the various 2WD, 4WD switches on the vehicle, so I now have an idea of where most of them are, (did not ...
