I have td42 with JPC tricked roller bearing turbo, gu pump with boost comp, 3" dump and exhaust no mufflers and this is how mine sounds.

about 50 seconds in you can hear the turbo whistle

Mine does it very loud on gear changes :) Im running a large JPC modded GT28 has a big 4" inlet and airbox is 4" in from the 4" and out to the turbz, also 3" custom dump and strait through exhaust with no mufflers and a 2 1/2" crossover pipe from turbo to intake and it gives me a big dose on ...

sorry to tell you this mate but rip the head off it will have bent all your intake and exhaust valves to shit! diesel's run big compression and have small piston to valve clearances, best bet is to take it to a mechanic if you dont know what your doing.

I did it on my GQ mate with just a standard steel bar i cut the top off the centre of the bar and welded a winch cradle inside the steel bar that i made from 6mm plate it was on the car for 2 years with allot of hard winching and was perfect never had a problem with it

start with the easiest thing first mate and blow out and check your diff breather for blockages, then grab the flange and see if there is excessive play in the pinion that may be causing the seal to flog out and go from there.

I have an airbox that I want to mod soon with 4" inlet and outlets and it is made from mild steel, and I have some 4" stainless steel tube left from when i did my snorkel and im just wondering if stainless with be ok to weld to mild steel?

this is how i did mine i just bent a piece of flat steal to the shape i needed and attached it to the snorkel with stainless rivets and screwed it into the A pillar

just pull it off and you can press the bearing out, if you dont have a press then you can use some sockets and a vice. Then take the bearing to a bearing shop to match it up and it should only cost you $5 - $10

so what i did was get an old nut i had lying around about the same thread size as the one broken off and i welded it to the broken stud in the head putting heaps of weld into the nut to get the thread nice n hot to burn off the rust then it came ...

they run strait from where the factory intake pipe goes so if you run a standard airbox in the standard position it will be no different with a snorkel fitted.

depending on what type of winch it is you can get them out easily on a highmount just undo the 4 bolts and it should come out.
