mines a 1990 model (s1 or s2???)and has the same size studs on the spare wheel bracket as the rest of the car, i didnt know there was a smaller size stud on some carriers, what a pita!

Oil pickup in the sump might be loose ??

nah it s a 3litre petrol model and the P/S res. is mounted up near the overflow bottle cos on the 3litre the dizzy wont allow room for it to fit on the pump itself. I think blkmav has the right idea in moving it, but I wanted to avoid moving/modifying mounts, extending lines, etc. I've convinced ...

Blkmav thats the tray I wanted to use - but just to be a PITA my powersteering resevoir is mounted in that position and the tray wont fit there.
