The 2-2.5" OME is a nice kit.
With a 2" BL you'd safey run 32 x 10.5 but you may even squeeze 33x 10.5 " under there...

That looks great Dave.
Did you build a new tray or just 'refurbish' the old one ?
Nice work either way.

Thanks for the update Dave.

Guess what ?? I bought myself a nice 81 J20 on the weekend for only 1000 bucks !! It's got a running 258 and a few war wounds around the cab but nothing outrageous. I'll drop my 360 and TH400 into it and make it look pretty and I'll finally have myself a J-Truck. I'll ...

I'm getting jealous now fellas.
I miss my FSJ's

Had an 82 with 6 cyl which I drowned
Had a 79 V8 with spring over which I rolled
Had an 82 V8 with all sorts of goodies which I sold when I got the WJ.

Still on the lookout for a project truck or WT Chero though...

Thanks for the pics ...

They're pretty good, and trust me I've tried a few.
I still prefer the turning response my little skinnies had, but I can't get them at the moment as the new IMEX distributor has none.
They'll do for now.

Yeah I figured you guys would like it.
The mini Boggers are better than the real ones cause they actually have a bit of side (lateral) traction !

Unfortunately I had to cut the lovely flares off cause they rubbed on the tyres way to much. Still looks nice though.

I was gonna ask the same question.
I only recently found out that the wheel centres could be moved.
I'd be interested to know who can do it and the legallities (if any)

Can anyone recommend someone to give me a good deal on a set of 35" Goodyear MTRs or Pro-Comp X-Terrain ?

Any help appreciated. I am in Sydney.

1984 CJ7 FOR SALE

Freind of mine is selling her 84 CJ7 here in Sydney.
It's white, has a Holden V8 (she's not sure of size), manual, soft top.
I understand it's just had a complete tranny rebuild, is in good nick and has rego. She's asking $17k but is negotiable for a fast sale.

Yeah they went.
No dramas getting in, though they heard a chopper at one stage but couldn't see him.
One of the guys had a problem with his rear diff but other than that things went well I believe.

The second design will not sufficiently prevent lateral movement of the axle.

Have you thought of triangulating the lower links at the chassis and running your upper links parallel ?

Cheers

I've got a couple of spare carriers but I'm pretty sure they would be stock units from the 74 CJ5 and 6 we bought. You're welcome to come have a look if you're in Sydney somewhere....

Wooders, you have too much time on your hands
Stu
Probably not too much you'd need to worry about if you bought a show pony that's never been wheeled. If you're looking at wheeling, the doors on the soft top are great for hangin out to see your front wheels cause they're cut. Sound bar is a good ...
