To get more cheap power put a ball bearing turbo on it. It will not only give you more power but it will boost in alot sooner.I would guess if you havn't done any thing to the turbo then it will be at max boost at about 2800 rpm's. Which is good for towing the boat. My turbo is at full boost at 1200...

If you take out your GQ CV's and you can see through the diff housing then you have one of the newer lockers. The older ones have two short pins and one long pin. I just fitted a 4" lift to my GQ ute. I used Dobinson springs and shockers, I have only been for a couple of drives but the shocks feel fine. I have no sway bars and they still handle good around corners. Mine are to suite 4" GQ springs, but if you have a body lift or are not scared to cut the tower...
