i have a set of 4.88 lux diffs (laminated a bit), and getting a set of 34 transfer gears.
im planing to run 38's-39's
but it is a trail toy only...
should be good.. but i am running a twin cam 1600 and auto.

In NSW most of the people running spoa are on heavier diffs, which surely helps stability,
are you sure about this, i thought the science says the less unsprung weight the better , so the diffs follow the car not the other way around.

if your doing lux diffs then it doesnt matter. Id still recomend a 1.3 though as the bigger trasnmission tunnel should give more room for the auto, meaning a smaller if any body lift required.

yeah thought about that...
dosent matter the pan on the auto is WAY 2 wide to fit in even a 1.3 job ...

maruti, late model, still 1 liter size stuff but widetrack will bolt straight on.
otherwise a widetrack lwb. (good luck) or as your confident with a welder buy a narrow track and do a widetrack conversion= better flex and your tires wont rub on the springs.

i have lost a bit from my clutch cable...

there is like a bit of 8mm round bar 15mm ish long with a hole though the center that the cable go's though...
then there is a special nut on the other side.....
well i have lost the dam bit of round bar... and i am 2 lazy to make one!!

new perches.. bit of rhs cut up $50 MAX

break lines i payed $100 and mine were HUGE!!!

and steering... ther is alot of ways u can go...
