I dont think it will too low. when you weigh up the 3.54 gears with 35 tyres and 50% reduction. the figures are very similar to having 4.1 gears 35 tyres and 30% reduction. The biggest problem you might find is the overlap between 4th low and 1st high. if the difference is too greta you might get ...

Kickdown or shift pattern

You will need to adjust your kickdown cable (tighten). This will help with holding in the gears for a longer period and get it down to the appropriate gear while asceding hills. It will also help in pulling back or dropping back into te right gear when slowing also. Not know how mechanically minded ...

If youve been cranking the engine and youve removed ythe plugs and they are dry, then there is something wrong there. if its getting fuel atomising out of the injectors seeing as though they are fine the plugs should be wet. fuel pump working = operating pressure at fuel reg/rail (make sure not ...

I had similar proble with mine. found out that while trying to start thr rover wiring setup draws power from getting a good spark. so try using jump battery and leads (which you've probably already had to do). rip a plug out after it has been sitting for a little while (a day) after cranking it over ...

FOUND IT!
There was a break in the wire between the light switch (powering the low beam) and the fuse. I Just run another wire.

The HI beam drama was loose rivets in the HI beam switch, sorted by repunching the rivets.

Thanks much for your help :)

Thanx heaps, :) I've checked the light switch and that seems to be working fine, (power in and out, parker, low and hi) might try the dip switch.

Does it matter that I can flash high beam with the d/s or is that on a diff circuit? :?

Forgive me for my ignorance, but what is O.O.O. :?:
