I dont think it will too low. when you weigh up the 3.54 gears with 35 tyres and 50% reduction. the figures are very similar to having 4.1 gears 35 tyres and 30% reduction. The biggest problem you might find is the overlap between 4th low and 1st high. if the difference is too greta you might get ...

Kickdown or shift pattern
You will need to adjust your kickdown cable (tighten). This will help with holding in the gears for a longer period and get it down to the appropriate gear while asceding hills. It will also help in pulling back or dropping back into te right gear when slowing also. Not know how mechanically minded ...

Hey i suppose when you put a set of nissan diffs in the Rovers, a nissan gearbox, change the wiring and throw in a chev or a 360 mopar donk then they arent to bad of a 4by. Hows that young grasshoppa. Believe it or not I think these are a minority in thr rover camp. As far as 360 mopar engines go ...

The RACV guy put fuel in through the vacuum line at the top of the injector cover, that would have the same affect as aerostart, wouldn't it? Anyway it made no difference, farker still won't start and it's pissin me off! It wont make any difference. it needs the pressure behind it to let the fuel ...

I had similar proble with mine. found out that while trying to start thr rover wiring setup draws power from getting a good spark. so try using jump battery and leads (which you've probably already had to do). rip a plug out after it has been sitting for a little while (a day) after cranking it over ...

Dont be scared of long range sill tanks, just put some scrub rails/sliders on, raise the fuel tanks the same amount as the body lift when you do the lift, print out the intructions off the LRA website and use them AS A GUIDE ONLY, NOT AS GOSPEL, every vehicle is slightly different and you will need ...

p76 Heads/ Manifold
If the manifold only has been shaved it wil sit lower in the valley, and if the heads have been shaved only the manfold will sit high in the valley. Both needed to have been shaved to compensate. The problem I think you might have is when the manifold was welded, being aluminium, it has warped ...

You took the words right out of my mouth. Just finished wiring up the lights this morning. Thinking of using the current wiring to the headlights as a switching wire and have a separate relay for each light. Maybe even with those fang dangled HID set ups. I know a few mates who have wired their main ...

Difference between R380 and LT77/95
Just curious as to the diffenrence b/t these. the reason being I want to put my mopar 360 engine back into a RR. I have an adapter that I made up for the old 4spd. It uses a valiant v8 bellhousing and adapter b/t engine and g/b. In short are the R380's a good strong box and is the bell housing the ...
