is an 18r tho but has a blown head gasket.
good nick and drives well.
does have aircon tho and i was suprised how light the steering was!

Hey again guys. I looked at a 88 Hilux single cab. It is cheap, and has a blown head gasket. Would i be better off just buying a new recon engine?? What would be a good engine to put in? Are 22r's better then 18r's? How much are recon engines usually? Also what am i looking at for converting it to ...

from what i have experienced the holden/buick/ecotech v6 is a peice of shit. Nothing but problem after problem..
are there any other engines suitable?
How about an RB30 from a VL/Skyline?
