Warn winch problem

Would anyone have any idea why my winch has just stopped? It is getting power to it and also I cannot flick over the free wheeling handle to let it free spin. Was in the middle of a recovery and whilst I had the switch to wind the cable back in it just stopped? Any ideas or similar problems? Cheers ...

must be a common thing with the passenger side locks, ours does the same, so i just rub wax on the key and give it a few turns and that normally does the trick, i wouldnt suggest oil or grease if you do a bit of dirt work as it just clogs it up again.
