Re: sleeving/ panhard rod/bar

Sorry, GU patrol 2000 4.2TD wagon. I have the new genuine bushes ready to go in but read this before I had a chance to fit them so thought I would check it out. The bushes I have have a tube inside them as you say but none on the outside like a caster bush, the bush is very soft so can see why you ...

Re: Gas regulator/ converter

Thank you for that, you have been very informative.

Would you then say lpg vapour could be like water as in that the pressure really does not matter to much it will only let so much come out the jet depending on the size of the jet?

GU 4.2 TD getting warm but have been playing

As above, the Old girl is getting a bit warm lately, normally sits on around 85* but has been getting to 105*, cools straight down as soon as you level out or get on the flat. Now I have been playing with the inlet air, I have increased the inlet to the air box to 100mm, bigger snorkel and out of ...

Thanks again for your reply, I take it you meant liquid in your reply not vapour.
Are you able to tell me what converter is used for the small diesel you were referring too.

Thanks Shane.

Re: Gas regulator/ converter

Thanks for that, I was asking about the regulator/converter as I was told if using this system (vapour) off road you could get a shot of liquid as the gas sloshes around.
If using for say going across the Simpson.

hi mate, did you see the P&h charge, $143.00. add that to the price of the solenoid and for that price you can get one from a guy in nsw with a twelve month warranty.

just wondering if it is of any advantage to run an extra alternator just to charge the caravan batteries. what i am thinking of is just have a 100amp alternator hocked up to the van batteries direct through a 25mm/squ cable. when not using the van the alternator could be hooked up to the axillary ...
