My right hand pipe (2') runs tight to the block and runs under my bell housing and joins on to the left side just beside the join of the gearbox to the bell housing, then into 3'' mandrel system all the back.. My front shaft does touch the pipe, but only just and when under full compression, if u ...

GQ with a V8 -Exhaust Advice- clearance issues
I've got a shorty gq with a 350 block. The R/H pipe just after the extractors has clearance issues due to the drive shaft, starter motor, diff pumpkin etc.... Can anyone with a similar setup advise me on how they have plumbed the r/h side?... either squeezed in or under the sump to join the other ...

Speco Gauges- Any Good?
Chaps, I'm looking at a 4' Tacho for my GQ. I found a Speco4' at Autobarn for $199.
Can anyone rate them for me?
For the rest of the gauges i'm going Autometer but they don't make a 4' tacho hence me looking elsewhere....
Any advice would be good

Bogged gave you a good link re heat resistent plugs boots etc and honestly go that way as HPC coating will do squat and be a waste of dollars if your leads are that close. I have a V8 4by with extractors and had them ceramic coated inside and out but mainly for overall rust protection etc. When I ...

one boot on the plugs is already heat damaged hence the reason i'm thinking this...
