Hey you've shown me all the pics I needed especially pic8.jpg, really I would not have guessed the pipe went behind the battery and up along the head light! p.s. ok you've shown me all the pipe layout, where the bolts go, the hanger, now just one more thing? I have a fj45 troopie with standard steering. I have a complete power steering from a 40 series to install. I need some reference photos of the placement of the pipes and hoses. Does anyone have any photos of your fj40/45 inside the engine bay? Can you send me them so I can see the plumbing/mounting ...

Has any one actually fit an original fj40 power steering box to a standard steering fj 40/45?? IF I have a standard steering fj45, are any of the parts like the drag link(Diff part number) and other parts of the steering gear going to be different? there's a bloke running round near where I live, his got a 45 troopie bottom and a 40 top, so ineffect its like a 2 door duel cab with a small tub in the back, which is actually the remanent of the troopie end.
