I went down to the property on wed on the bike for a bit of a warm up for the ride, and I reckon the last hole is more of a cruiser trap than a hilux one ':D'

The guys have done a great job of setting up all of the obstacles and the position is perfect for all of the crowd to look on.

the dump pipe is a DTS i think, from there on is 3 inch no mufflers.

there is a little oil film in the intake pipe, i thought this was normal.

IF the turbo is had it, whats the $ damage for a new DTS one or a ball bearing one that will fit the existing flanges

4.2 DTS turbo about to die?

Here's a tricky one. When accelerating in the higher gears as the boost starts to build, it feels as if the turbo is spalling(binding up) for a second or so, then as the exhaust pressure builds it forces the turbo to spin up.

It doesn't happen all the time, only randomly in the first hour after ...

Nutter,

what nozzles are you using for your water/meth (brand, where to buy) i've got a hold of some 'Flat jet 65 deg spray' (JBR 0260 T1, www.techpro.com.au) nozzles that will flow 0.230 lpm at 3 bar.

Is this too much flow for a td42 or too little pressure at 3 bar?

Instead of using an ...

What thread is in the top of a fire extinguisher bottle?

I'm planning on using a 9L water fire extiguisher bottle for an air tank/resevoir for my on board ac compressor. Does anyone know the thread size and type so i can source the fittings i need. I'd measure it myself but i don't get the bottles till next week.

thanks steve

Basically i buy the 5lt regardless of being auto or manual or vs/vr or vp/vn then plug in the haultec and everything should work with a bit of fine tuning to the standard "map" (engine will ...

I'm just about to order my new 350 chev for the mav, but can't decide on using a good offroad 'proof' carby or going to straight lpg.

how well do the holly 4wd carbies work? the holley on the 305 i have now is hopeless even after a 4wd kit has been installed in it.
