Thanks "Wish I had coils" - I have to charge battery and crack injectors again to get it running smooth - then I will take off the rod. Are there only 3 settings - stop, run and go, if so it will be easy to set the fuel pump run on the pump.

Thanks for the tips. I did not look at the fuel control motor, but it does sound feasible. We checked the injectors, etc, when we stopped and it all seemed ok. We broke down middle Stockton beach, so gettign a tow out was not easy - embarassing it was up to a cruiser with mods to tow us out. I shall ...

As per the manuals, it says to use hand pump, crack bolt on top secondary fuel filer and close when no air. Crack the two side screws on the injector pump, again till no air, and then do the injectors.

I found that if you only crack the front screw on the injector pump and pump away till no air, it ...

Ok. I know my way around the motor quite reasonably buit not sure about the fuel adjusting screw. I didn't think we had much on the adjustment side of things with these inline injector pumps, except max fuel stop and idle.

I am leaning to getting it tuned, but if you send me in the right direction ...

Hmmm. Thanks for the crankcase info. It certainly sounds and looks right.

The old girl may have a worn engine as I can only get the revs up to 2500 at any time full load or not. I have suspected worn rings but it doesn't blow any smoke, maybe a touch off blue on start up as usual, and some black ...
