Bundy Coil Travel & Other Suspension Questions
After having been extremely pleased with the ride and handling offroad of our vehicle, I'm now starting to think about getting the little beast some new legs and shoes.
I'm kind of stumped as to how much vertical travel can be expected from a stock vehicle, and how much improvement can be had by ...

cracked 2LT... no surprise
Hey all...
So the thing's got 4 cracks in the head... no choice but to stick a new one in, and all the bits and pieces are ready to go.
Now, I've had thermostat problems that apparently caused the cracking, so I"m going to be changing that over and giving the cooling system a once over. Radiator ...

Hi.
I'm feeling a little sus over a diagnosis we received from the mechanic who shall remain nameless, for the time being anyway.

2LT Turbo lag... related to cracked radiator??
Hi gang.
Over the weekend just gone, I noticed two things:
1. Turbo lag... it usually kicks in around 2000rpm, but nowadays it's not kicking in until well over 2000, approaching 2500, just about where peak torque is. But only slightly noticeable in terms of performance.
2. The radiator sprung its ...

Bundy upgrade questions...again!
Okay, I just thought that I might condense all my random thoughts into one cohesive list of questions. Sorry to do a mind dump, but this is like therapy for me...

Fuel filter not pumping through to injectors
Hi guys.
Everything ran smoothly for our little Bundy TD after a service, and running up 450km's to Croajingolong. Even did about 130 odd km's of track driving from one magnificent beach to another.

Rancho 9000 series shocks...what are they like?
Thought my vehicle was 'stock' till I got it serviced last weekend and was told that we have Rancho adjustable shockers all 'round.
Did some research online, found out how to adjust them... voila, firmer ride. See, I was just about to consider booking the vehicle in for a full suspension upgrade ...

Diesel 'Chemtune'... anyone heard of it/used it or similar??
Hi all.
We're putting our new acquisition of 2 1/2 months in for her first service this week and we're being offered a Chemtune by 4WD Connections here in Melbourne (any info on them??). It costs $250 but you can order the chemicals from the manufacturer in QLD, but it can be a task to execute it ...

1989 Turbo Diesel Bundera - newbie questions
Hi all.
We got our truck, if you could call it that, about 2 months ago. Inspired by the road from Bonnie Doon on Lake Eildon, we headed out to the yard and picked up this great little turbo diesel, straight from Japan with 160K kms on it.
Smooth running all along, till this weekend. On a ...
