I have just fitted a factory turbo to my GU TD42 DX wagon and was driving it for 2days with 400mm of 2.5inch pipe straight out of the dump pipe, before fitting a sports 2.5inch system. The difference the system made was more power/torque and less noise. I was told some backpressure was needed for ...

Why do you need a 24v-12v converter when there are 2 12v batteries in the car, can you just power the acc. etc off of 1 battery. Use the 1 battery that has the negative that goes to the car body and connect to the link cable between the 2 batteries would be the postive. This would stop the other ...

Toughnut if you run 2 cables from each battery to the winch + to + and - to - , then you can use smaller cable to carry the load ( current ) but if you went from 1 battery to the 2nd battery then to the winch the cable to the winch would have to be bigger to carry the full load of the winch from ...

GQ SWB Engine lift blocks
Hi All, I have just put in a body lift kit into my 90 SWB and would like to put lift blocks under the engine mounts so I can take out the 20mm gearbox spacers. This would lift the gearbox and shifters back up into the car and make it easyer to change gears. The question is if I take out 20mm ...

Hi Alex, Fleetguard part no. for Nissan FF 5307 costs about $22 Aust. money. The CAV filter was given to me by a friend, he used it on his old MQ Patrol, it was taken to work and cleaned up with a sand blaster ( looks new :) ). It has on it: Lucas, Made in UK, Type FAS. Hope this helps. Cheers Paul.
