Re: 1hz hp

It actually spools heaps lower than the gt 2876. Much more driveable. I had a wicked flat spot on the garret, when it wasn't on boost.

Re: 1hz hp

120rwkw on 36 inch tyres, 4.1 diff ratios and safe temps, with gt2876 and stock pump.
It would be a fair bit more with my 12mm compensated pump and a t3/t4 turbo.

Re: Anyone racing a 1HZ/1HDT/1HDFT or 1HDFTE??

Graeme, I am currently running a GT2876R on a 1HZ with water to air intercooling, but looking for something that spools lower yet makes bulk power. I will be rebuilding a engine soon for it and plan on a big power job, bigger pump and strengthend pistons. I wouldnt mind talking to you when your back ...

What coils do you run in your coiled 75/79?

I am just wondering what height and rate of coils people have been putting in after doing a coil coversion?
Mine runs the full 80 chassis and I ended up with 4 inch EFS coils in the softest coil rate, with 30 mm spacers in both the front and rear of the right hand side so it sat level.
Has anyone ...

Re: Sliders with exhaust on outside of chassis rail

I got ARB scrub rails on mine, and the was no physical way to make my exhaust fit out side the chassis rail. So now its inside the chassis rail and even then its very tight.

A few points I do wanna bring up though....
1HZ has a timing belt, and indirect injection (yukky glow plugs)
13BT has gears and direct injection and piston skirt cooling..
13BT dont mind hot EGTs. I wouldnt ever bother to put in a petrol engine in a 4wd.

Turbo 1hz or fit 13BT

I have a HZJ75, and it doesnt quite have enough power. I'm considering 2 options,
1. 1hz has 290,000 new fuel pump and injectors in the last 20,000km. Now i would turbo it and intercool it.
2. Freshen up the 13BT I have and put it in the 75.

I'm not worried about wiring because it will pretty much ...

I saw a Cat 27 litre v12 run on, because of shagged turbo seals. It it 3300rpm and they are only ment to rev to 2100. I think you will find bent valves and rockers if it has oversped which it sounds like it has. I think you would still be worth while buying a long motor.
