i used the sportak manifold with the applause throtle body

as the applauses inletmanfold has nowere for the small pipe to go to from the top of the rad of the sportrak

found one dead wire got it started but ticks over at 3000 revs

i used the applause injectors and dizzy

well after fitting my applause engine it will not start
i have no ecu light on the dash but all others work (bat/oil)
engine tuns over ok all fusers seem ok
any one know how to test the ecu to see if the power is geting thery
car started before i swaped engine

how hard is it to replace the front b/discs on a sportrak

hi ajferoza on the sportraks inlet manifold they is a small pipe that gos to the top of the radiator (breather hose) is what it is called by the sportraks workshop manual but on the applause inlet manifold thery is no were to put the pipe can i block this off or not? all other pipes i can get around ...

whats the MINOR wiring differences?
i will have the ecu from the applause if this fits the sportraks loom
should i change that like i say i will have the full car that i pick up on sunday

i have give up with my sportraks engine and have bought a full applause car for the engine with 80.000 miles on the clock a fsh i heve read ho here on what i have to change but i can not find the post can i leave the inlet manafold and injectors on from the applause? will the sump have to be changed ...

hi all iam finding it hard to come across a fuel pressure guage i have pull the vacum line off no loss of fuel i have checked the water temp and air temp sensors both seem fine when it ticks over no black smoke but if you rev it then thery is if i pull the plugs of the air temp/water/tps/ then i get ...

one more thing i have been offerd an EFI inlet manifold off a P-reg Sportrak see pic does any one know if this will fit my 1993/4 efi sportrak

the manifold does not look the same as my one the throttle body is on the other side
