Dosn't mean anything in relation to the engine. That model car could have had a number of different options resulting in a heavier car.
The 200/300Tdi is definatly lighter than the Isuzu. LR brought out special front springs to handle the Isuzu weight.

Mine is in bits at the moment being repainted. But its got twin tanks, sals rear diff, rear discs, turbo, custom dash (S11 firewall), custom bull bar.

I've got a D90 project with a 4BD1, in the process of plumbing up the turbo at the moment. I've gone with the original garrett as I already had the set up but I imagine that a after market WRX one or something would go real well.
What sort of engine mounting system dose your D90 have, as that has ...

The stock 4bd1-t only produces around 8lbs of boost at max, so no they arn't rocket's. But they turn the standard engine into an incredible towing engine, an when put into a smaller veh lick the 110 that's when you notice the real difference between the motors.

I've got a defender 90 that I've raised 2"at the rear to match the 110 Isuzu springs in the front, I havn't driven it yet as it's not complete yet. I am concerned about the angle causing vibrations, I got a cardon joint but don't know weather to fit it or not.
Anyone out there with a D90 done ...
