Robbo,
are they OE mudflaps on the back, 'cos I just bought a
KJ Renegade and the flaps are way too long. I already
ripped 1 off backing up the gutter, and i've only had it a week
so imagine how pissed i am.

Tell them to shove it
they will probably ask why. so you tell them you can't afford
genuine replacements cause your manifold is stuffed and headers
(don't say extractors- it makes you sound like a hoon )
are the cheapest option. If they still dont want your business bad luck
to them. GIO ...

Yeah thats a bummer.
The only sensible thing to do would be buy the pakage (15x7 by the way)
and keep 'em locked up in your garage, use what your currently running
around on ( if they are worn buy some super cheap road going retreads)
and swap 'em over to head into the bush. The added bonus is ...

Paul, sounds like you do need new tyres. But just dont blame the
Wranglers for being slippery on a wet road, you wont find anyone
on this site that will tell you their muddies (any brand) stick like the
proverbial on a wet road.
I recently bought a set of Wrangler MT/Rs (with new tread pattern ...

The outside rear corners were rubbing on the bolts that held on the flaps at about 80% of full lock both ways. As for what they cost, 45 ea rim and 200 ea tyre fitted at Beaurepares. You do the sums, good price I think.
The road noise is awesome, it screams "get outta my way i'm cumin through" and ...

Hey guys
I havent been on for a while. I finally got some new rubber and wheels.
15x7 sunrasias and the new Wrangler MT/R's 235x75x15. The lift is coming soon. The tyres only scrubbed on the front mud flaps so they were removed. I had an awesome day in the Wattagans in the mud
and the tyre were ...

Boost gauge should only show positive press. when turbo is spinning fast enough to provide positive press. When idling the gauge should be in the negative, as the engine induction is creating a vacuum in the manifold and the turbo, although is spinning, is not working hard enough to providing enough ...

Just wondering about the BOV's. Even though there is no butterfly valve,
when you get off the throttle from it being on the floor you must still get
a build up of backpressure (caused by turbo boost pressure) in the manifold, which in turn causes the turbo to slow down creating turbo lag when you ...

Instead of adding leaves I would be better off getting whole new spring packs altogether, so my back end doesn't sag so much when we go away.

The cheapest Feroza lift?

After looking at a few Hilux's I noticed the rear leaves on Hilux's were mounted above the axle, whereas the Feroza's are mounted below the axle. Has anyone lifted their Feroza by remounting their leaves on top of the axle. It looks like you could get about 3" by doing this. Then I suppose all I ...

G'day Andy
My Missus would kill me if I took anything else off the car.
I already copped a roasting for taking off the bullbar,
it was the worst excuse for a bullbar I have ever seen.
But I convinced her in the end

Any east coasters interested in doing a day trip to
Stockton in 4-5 weeks time. Would be great to meet
some of you guys, and check out your rigs.
Also can anyone give me an idea of costs of extend

Hi there
My name's Jason aka mudpig
My wife and I recently bought a '95 wide track
which hopefully over the next year or two will
receive a few mods. It already has extractors
and exhaust. Next step bigger wheels body lift
extended shackles, and tougher springs off an
older model.
Pic of ...
