You guys are all jumping to conclusions. First, check to see that the guage is working. Range Rover sending units have a horrible tendency of going bad and spiking, causing the operator to think the temp is too high. They are cheap and easy to replace, and are one of the first things to do when ...

now, what IS cool that KAM makes is the LSD/cable locker diff... when in "open" mode it functions as their very effective limited slip diff, but can be fully locked via cable actuator to act as a spool... I think these might find their way into the next rover!

Isuzu diesel questions??

I know the 4BD1 was used in various rover products over the years. What I am curious about is...

What transmissions were they used with?

How were they adapted to these transmissions?

How were the frames different than the frames for other engines?

How difficult would it be to modify a ...

I must admit I am rather jealous!! I wish I could easily get my hands on a set of those. My friend has the old style 900x16s and I have been impressed with them, these look even better in all respects.

It seems they mostly get smaller dimensions, but they had a set of five when I mailed them.

Dual LT230s would not work, but a Toy reduction box between the trans and transfer would. Shifters and driveshafts would need to be addressed though, however one could have a 2.28, 4.0, 4.7, or 5.0 reduction in the toy box if desired. I'm not sure how well the LT230 input shaft would handle the ...

I have the box from an 80 series Land Cruiser on my IIA, it fits very nicely on the outside of the framerail. The nose section of the box tucks in just behind the breakfast panel- no crossmember mods necessary.

The longer shocks will help a lot, but after that the most productive thing you can do is fit longer shackles all the way around, and make sure that they are mounted at the proper (45*) angle. Toy Birfs in a Rover housing- done

I dont have any pics, but it worked great. I am using all stuff from MacNamara, incl front inner shafts and drive flanges (all very nice stuff). Everything went together without a hitch, after the machine work was done on the spindles (local shop charged me for 4 hours labor).

on my '91 IFS truck, i have 32x11.5 BFG muds on 15x8 3" backspace wheels and they only rub on the plastic inner fender lining at full lock and suspension compression at the same time. my rear springs are actually sagging quite a bit, still no rubbage issues.

Rover housings redrilled for the Toy diff pattern (not the other way 'round)

profields or longfields

rust-free series/defender parts wanted

I know you guys live in the land of no rust, so I am looking for some shippable (to the USA) parts.

2 right side lower doors, same description as above
