Stop your wheels falling off?

I have read on here and other places about wheels coming off 4wd's (usually GQ's). I have noticed all the Boral trucks seem to run a type of nut lock that wont allow the wheel nuts to come undone. I cant find the exact ones they use but they are the same idea as these. http://www.2020v.com.au/zafety ...

Re: new manifold less boost now??

I thin what some poeple were trying to explain was something I have read about a couple of times, but cant find again.

Basicly, you dont get boost without restriction, if you remove restriction from your engine your boost level (psi) will be lower for the same horsepower. I think it applies more ...

troylux, how high do the XR6 seats sit, higher or lower than standard?

I put Prelude seats in my GQ after reading a few people on here recommend them, they are really comfy, but sit higher than the standard seats, Im tall and my hair now (just) touches the roof lining.

What I wrote about the Unidens only problem is being down on power wasn't quite right, they are also less sensitive tan a GME or Icom (poorer reception) and the mics are pretty crap, the connections between radio and curly cord always break.

Midi, if you recon the GME shits on the Uniden you should ...

I dont want to start an argument over something so simple as this, but I find it hard to believe that someone from uniden basicly rubbished their own product.

What do you mean "shorting the unit" crozza? I have never seen or heard of anyone blowing the finals on any brand except for shorting the aerial connection or just old age.

The only problem that Unidens have (imo) is that they are generally a little down on output power (4.2-4.5Watts) compared to ...

the antenna relies on the trigger from the HU. most HUs (ie: non-pioneer) have 2 blue wires: one is the 'remote' wire to trigger an external amp on/off, and is +12V whenever the HU is switch on (ie: constant +12V when the HU is on). the second wire is a switched wire that only goes to +12V when ...
