This may be a bit delayed, but here is a picture of Brad C's hood scoop from a Patrol. I was just down there, and was impressed with how well it functioned (even at 42 degrees). Between the scoop, and the side vents, the engine remains noticably cooler! By the way, the fish on the hood was a joke!

The Truxxus and LTB have been around the States for well over a year, and have not found great popularity for trail use. As mentioned earlier, they come in some odd sizes, which has been their marketing strategy. The BF Goodrich Krawler just came out here, so I take it that you guys will see it in ...

You can make your own setup pretty easily. I bought my tank "slightly used", but it had a current hydrotest stamp. You can buy new aluminum os steel tanks through welding supply stores, or beverage/homebrew outlets. A new 10 pound aluminum tank runs around $100 US in the states. Then you need a ...

You can't run air tools off of an ARB compressor. As others have said, they are okay for light-duty on and off use, but they don't take kindly to water or corrosion. I run an aluminum 10 pound CO2 tank with a 125 psi regulator for air tools. I currently use an ARB compressor for my lockers, but am ...

Have you checked out Allied's steel wheels down there? I don't have any experience with them, but have heard very good things about them. You can get them in standard or beadlocked in a variety of sizes/backspacing. For some info, you can check out http://www.alliedrockathons.com/

Send the guy some retainers, and he critiques your welding (done in the snow, as well!). You may have to look up what "snow" is, eh Mr. 40 degrees? See you in a few... I'll bring my shorts, homie!

I made my own spring retainers for the rear (upper and lower), and have made sets for a friend in Perth that are on their way there. I sent him 4 sets, all already spoken for. I run 3.5" springs, and 1.5" aluminum spacers (that I made) on my 1988 Classic. I run 34" swampers, and 10" shocks. The ...
