high beam problem with 90 hilux

I have just bought a 1990 hilux and having a problem with high beam low works high on the dip switch works also but the high doesnot
I have chased the wiring from the stearing column the dip and high uses the same wiring and is working fine from the column
Any help would be great

I would think he is after a replacement soft top, $1000 for a one of custom fibreglass hard top would be the bargain of the year. Peter. Yes i would prefer the FRP top even if it was the rear half On my way home from work last night one of the side windows ripped out :lol: so im in desprate need now

Does any one know where to get a replacment top for a LWB i have been told they are not avalable any more and a cusom one is the only way to go!!!!

mud4b had the tacho working in his coily and he did not do anything special. i think that the coily tacho set up was designed with mpfi in mind because the later models / some in japan came out with the g13bb in them. i guess i will find out. i am just waiting on my fuel pump to be able to do a ...

Its easy cut either side of the bolt then use vice grips to turn it dont wild a nut on it you will only burn all the paint i have done it my way on about 7 zooks no problems yet just go easy when cutting

guys he stated that he has a vitara as that nothing can be done for the gearing in it

IMO 30s

i run 30 BFGs but as that i have a gv the gearing has now been lowered by about 12% ill be upgrading to 31 TSLs or something similar

I had a similar problem with the same plug also check the modulator on the air con box at passengers knees but this is only for the air con

Change the thermostat, flush the system check the thermo fan

By the sound of it you need to get on top of it before you cook it :!:
