Hi all, My 2002 SWB Mitsubishi Shogun starts and runs fine but as soon as I put the auto into drive or reverse the engine management light comes on and she goes into 'safe mode'. I've cleaned the micro filters as this engine seems prone to blocking them, but now I am stumped. Anyone any ideas? Any ...

what about the honda motors? they came with a nice auto, could be fun with the vtec
ive been thinking of a buggy like this for a while and was reckoning that a honda vtec+auto+welded diff +4.88 bundy axles + 35's would be fun

it takes my 36's well at the moment with the 80 series springs in and only rubs on the rear wheel arch when articulating, the front doesnt rub, maybe i allready have the best compromise of lift and tyres and height, i'l get the stauns put in them and get them put back on it and have a good flex and ...

no cutting and my tyres are 14.5 wide and i have 1.5 inch spacers and offset wheels, they do touch on the inner wheel arch under articulation but not much, i could do with spacing the bumpstops down half an inch or so to stop it happening did you cut the guards at all to fit 36's? i had 35's on mine ...

80 series front springs (im presuming the 80 series spring you tried was a rear one) are what you want as they are the same diameter as the bundy springs and ive just got a set of pro comps on mine which do the job. As for the castor correction bushes, i dont know and could do with some too! mine ...

but it is a great example of the kind of truck you are talking about, i'd imagine the rainforests are slightly more manageable than the swamps of northern russia where it was built to compete, having finished top 5 in the ladoga trophey on its first run out of the shed! and taking on vepsski les ...
