Re: Radiator water disappearing. GU TD42

mine is leaking in this exact spot too... maybe half way down the plate on the right hand side....

still investigating, but it looks like when the car is hot and turned off, the pressure builds up in the engine and forces it out behind the plate.

sounds like AJ got a dud...

I've got an N34 (Ithink) Pulsar wheel on mine and everything works great. Heaps better the stock, and you wouldn't know it was not from the original unless you knew what you were looking for.

I'd say that the sup regs will be written as they build each SSS.

As they are about the stages themselves.

As soon as the tracks are designed and sup regs written each entrant will be emailed.

yep this is what I did... just had the seats and vinal flooring out then unscrewed the cover and moved it back as far as possible, then screwed it back on.

no problem

Make sure you store it with a full tank of Diesel.

servicing is a good idea, but not essential.

get the GF to start it every couple of weeks if she's able and let it run for 10 minutes.

Re: Simex Immatation Tread All Opinions Needed

Silverstone were making Bar treads & other full on offroad tyres 15 years ago before anybody with 4WD's had heard of Simex. People raved about how well their 10R M/T's went in the mud until they saw what you could plow through in a stock landy with 7.50x16 bar treads. yeah had 7.50 x16 bar treads ...

gtwebbie, I've got the safari on mine and it has served me well. In saying that I have a couple of issues: 1. the safari takes up a fair bit of room on the side of the XJ and when i put on the bushwackers I had to trim the flares around the snork. I dont think you have to trim the air-flow snork. 2 ...
