8 body mounts in a lwb. 6 are welded to the floorpan and 2 under the headlights are just long bolts. also 4 spacers under the body. depends on how high you are lifting it 2 inch and there are no real probs. 3 inch and you need to extend the gear levers, fuel filler, brake pipes. Correct, and same ...

hehe, I like it, it's something different. Take pic's and post them here. I'd get a manual of some sort to see how to get the dash out. I'm not at home so can't look it up for you right away. And if you're going to replace it I'd say sawzall too

I know of someone who put an (old) carry motor into a sammy. Good news is they are exactly the same, bad news is the carry motor spins the other way  So this guy had a sammy with 5 gears backwards and 1 forward

You started it, I think strapless is better BECAUSE they have the ability to flap.
But if you mean for on your zuk I'd say both should be okay, and shouldn't flap if fitted properly.

The flares replace those small pieces of the sill protector, and they are made of plastic. Don't know where they come from, but there are Suzuki S'ess all over them. But I don't really care 'bout having only 5 digits, I maintain it frequently enough and the motor is still going strong, if it has to ...

Re: Does Vitara P/S box have an oil seal at the bottom?

Hi guys, As the title says, I was wondering if the Vitara power steering box has a lower oil seal (on the pitman arm output shaft) and whether anyone has a part number for it and/or somewhere to get it in sydney? Mine is leaking and I wanna fix it asap. Thanks in anticipation. Adam Hehe, that leak ...

G'day Ed, just out of curiosity two questions for you: 1. Looking at the picture of your Vit, it looks like you have Owen's Classic flares on the vehicle, is that right? 2. Does your Vit have a 5 or 6 digit km reading on the speedo? In Australia we only got either the G16A 8V carb or G16B 16V EFi ...

Newbe with engine problem

Hey Guys, My second post (first was in members section ) I have a problem with my Vit. It's 8v EFI and it runs bad. It started about three weeks ago (I think), the vit wouldn't start so I started looking why and there was a relais under the dash that was rattling, also a few valves in the engine bay ...
