hehe, I like it, it's something different. Take pic's and post them here. I'd get a manual of some sort to see how to get the dash out. I'm not at home so can't look it up for you right away. And if you're going to replace it I'd say sawzall too

I know of someone who put an (old) carry motor into a sammy. Good news is they are exactly the same, bad news is the carry motor spins the other way So this guy had a sammy with 5 gears backwards and 1 forward

You started it, I think strapless is better BECAUSE they have the ability to flap.
But if you mean for on your zuk I'd say both should be okay, and shouldn't flap if fitted properly.

So Luigi, you if I understand this right you have put Subaru front brakes in the rear of your zuk? and there was a handbrake on them? I'm looking into this for my vit now. What type subaru was that?

GV rims are 16"... And most dealers throw them away, because customerws install other ones. If you ask around you could maybe get them for free (over here at least EU).

The flares replace those small pieces of the sill protector, and they are made of plastic. Don't know where they come from, but there are Suzuki S'ess all over them.

As the title says, I was wondering if the Vitara power steering box has a lower oil seal (on the pitman arm output shaft) and whether anyone has a part number for it and/or somewhere to get it in sydney?

Mine is leaking and I wanna fix it asap.

1. Looking at the picture of your Vit, it looks like you have Owen's Classic flares on the vehicle, is that right?
2. Does your Vit have a 5 or 6 digit km reading on the speedo? In Australia we only got either the G16A 8V carb or G16B 16V EFi ...

I had the white one on my 1.6 8v EFI modell, destroyed it too, and fitted one like the red one, no problems involved in the process, just getting the old one out, I damaged some clips so now it's resting on my winch bumper only

We fixed some broken leaf springs on a heep with D-clips we use on the end of the recovery straps He drove a few hundreds of km's with it and they were still in place
