Thanks for your reply, Hudson44. I have found out that the clutch set-up is a so-called "pull clutch". There is no unusual noise when the vehicle is running but I am interested in trying to make the clutch adjustable, as now after 65000 km the clutch takes up after the pedal is a fair way off the ...

I have an MK diesel, 5 speed manual. When the vehicle is travelling on the road, in gear with the motor running and the clutch out, does the throwout bearing still rotate?
