I went the Detroit soft auto locker and it is great, you would not know it is there and you don't have to do a thing ( always working). Buy direct from US and save heaps, I would put one in the front to if the disco wasn't AWD.

Go the Detroit soft locker, I have just fitted one to my Disco and you cannot tell when it is unlocking, very smooth. Speak to the guys at Prochem Pipeline Products (03 9799 2244) in Dandenong. They sell 304 and 316 tube, the bends are only in 316!! aparently it is cheaper so they say. 316 has molly in it which reduces the likly hood of corrossion. It will still stain if left for a long period with out washing ...

Yep the keyway had exploded inside, found a new 1 for $265 couldnt wait needed it same day. almost shred the new belt too. the tension pully was making the belt run off course. had to cut one of the v runs off because it got damaged! hmmm.

Looks like the power stearing pump has died. First I thought it was just the belt cut down to half width not having enough pressure to drive however after checking bearings etc I found the pump pully and shaft slide towards the fan. Can it be fixed or would is it common for the shaft to snap or ...

The clark rubber ones has a wire hole around the outer. With the wire inserted they hold shape well and dont sag! Comes down to the look you want$

OK I had go after reading the other web site. Luck there was pictures because when I opened it up there was a flat washer floating around in side! End up being a support / spacer for one of the valves, hit it back in and added loctite sealant. Hopefully no more leaks!!!! Thanks for the info ...

My vacuum pump is leaking oil out, where a side cover is pop rivited on.
New ones are expensive! Can it be drilled apart and resealed?
If I go to the trouble, will it last?

When I pull my little lever slowly, both high beam and low beam are on at the same time. It is realy good, why cant you or should I say will if fry anything if I was to mod the setup so on high beam low is on at the same time????

I went the Safari ABS one, this fits 300TDI & V8s.
Took about 4 hours to fit. When fitting dont srew the steel offset mount on to the air cleaner box, fit the air cleaner in place first and mark holes. I had to move mine! Got it from AMV in Ringwood.

Some of those rubber flares let u put wire in the outer lip so they bend and hold shape on the corners. My mate just got the rubber flare stuff from Clark Rubber and the wire from bunings (put on a GQ).

I had a roo hit my back left. Managed to get a second hand from US 4x4 in Melbourne. There was a few to choose from (different amount of small stone damage) good as new when I sold it!
