hi i am in need of a 2h head for my 88 hj75, i have a mate with a 2h engine out of a 82 cruiser. Can any one tell me if the head would suit my later model engine as i believe the early model engines are wet liner blocks n the late are 1 piece, so are there any difference in the heads, also are there...

ok, i did find it hard to believe that sunnies are not made for them, I will ring around, so the steering box is adjustable which brings me to my next problem, I went into repco to get a w/shop manual and no one makes them, there is one for the sierra but no jimny wtf where can i get a manual thats ...

ive had the car into the shop and they said all bearings, bushes were all good, the tyres needed balancing and found 2 of the rims were buckled and was common(although no outside evidence that i could see) also the steering box is worn, so i think a new steering box and rims should see things fixed,...

Had the same problem two different occasions, one was shot castor/ radius arm bushes after lifting 2'' the death wobble showed, second time bent drag link causing severe wheel alignment, third time different car was castor bushes again.

steer clear, they are rare and unreliable, jeeps run similar vm, they r extremely expensive, i work on them in boats and have half a shed at work full of dead vm/ bmw/mercruiser diesels, my 2 cents anyway

i made it a ute fully lined with cheqarplate alloy, but i chopped it to shorten the rear end, the 1/4 are still there cause there used to be a 100 l gas tank in there below the window, i had it engineered with the buckets, but no cage inside, got sick of breaking things and going home in a tow truck...

thanks for that guys i can understand gearing that way from factory as its gotta match the torque n power curve , so its due 4 some tyres soon so i think going slightly bigger rubber is good as long as it doesnt start to labour the engine to much so what is the std tyre size in inches are they 28''s...

hi just wondering if its normal for jinmies to sit on 4000 rpm around 100- 110 on the high way, ive never driven a car that revs that hard on high way , if so is there common ratio changes or a way to drop a few revs, ie change tyre size with out it struggling

had the exact problem coming from cruiser, after fitting new suspension with good flex tried all the wheel balancing alignments ect, turns out it was control arm bushes causing the diff to shutter, u cant even control the steering wheel same thing slow right down to 30 all the way to brissy ,problem...

thinking of buying a jimny

hi after some advice on buying a jimny , its for the g.f, ive never owned a suzi, im a bit old fashion (i drive a defender) but find the jimny a last true compact 4x4 live axles solid chassis hi lo tranfer which i like but would like some feed back on common problems or issues with them,
