Its the same as mine....except yours is a lot cleaner. I did the spark plugs a few weeks ago. Its a bastard and you hurt your knuckles a lot but it can be done. All i undid was the air pipe but not fully, only enough to move it a little bit just to give me just that little bit of extra room needed t...

I agree with you that a GQ is just a bit too clunky looking for that kind of money (but a great option for under $10k). Anyone spending $20k today on a GQ that's not seriously and expensively modified would need their head read imho. Jason Under 10k? Do you have any idea about the price of 4bys tha...

the GQ would be an awesome choice. Should be able to pick up a good one for a little under 20k then a little left for some new rubber and maybe new suspension. I'm not just saying that cause i own one but they will probably be the best possible 4by for the price your talking, cause the 80 (which is ...

RACQ goes allright. Not my experience As long as the truck is pretty standard they'll talk but start swapping engines and what not I'm insured with racq and although i've only had it for a bit over 3 months they seem alright. They we're the cheapest for me and i asked about mod's and they said they...

are the 315's as wide as the 35's? 315's is the width (315mm) and 35" is the hieght so no comparison can be made. But i must say 315's is 12.5" which is a nice tyre. JontyG; When i first took my insurance out (in queensland) with RACQ they said i am insured up to 100mm (4") which makes me believe t...

Screwy, About your original question, i don't know if the shocks would have enough travel to fit 4" springs but if they did, anyone who knew what they were looking at and saw the shocks at full travel when its not flexing will think your a dick. You won't need to replace the brake lines cause you st...

33 inch maxxis mudders x 5 $1000. Get bob to do it. very easy to fit. These tyres are awsome on and off road. Great value. my brother is in the market for new tyres and when shopping around one tyre mob told him the maxxis are really good and he's interested. The only problem is that he does a lot ...

My first oil change after i bought my truck i use the penrite Gas oil, whatever it is called, because i run gas. I'm happy with it. When ideling the oil pressure drops to 2kg/cm3 which is apparently good as it means it is alot cleaner. It never did this before i changed the oil. I don't know if that...

Thats a good question. I'm in a similar situation. Seeing as i'm still paying off mine for a few more months i'm gonna keep costs down til i pay it off i'm gonna keep my mods simple. I've already done a safari snokel because i've already wet my air filter which was enough of a scare. And next is cha...

yeah it is the car yard at lawnton. If your talking about adventure 4x4 then i would advise not to touch them. I have never had a bad experience but i have never bought from them. When i was in the market for a GQ wagon he said, (something like) "We don't have any in at the moment but i know of one...

Mines the 4.2 straight 6 petrol and it is terible on fuel economy. Around town it chews about 25L/100km on gas so on my 90L tank i would be lucky to get 350km, but when i fill up, it rarely goes over $35. People say to go diesel cause its more fuel efficient but you can't get it for less than $1.10/...
