I currently run a yota fj40 with a 350 chev etc. It's very costly on the fuel front. I was thinking of going something smaller. I love Lj80 too but they're gutless really I just wanted to find out if it was very tricky to wind them up a bit. If it was worth it really.

do it yourself... u'll learn so much more, about everything. Just start unbolting and remember what u've done, it's not rocket science. if u fuck it, just bolt it up the way u unbolted it and get someone one else to fix it properly.

got it!!! just needed a little encouragment. the retaining bolt was missing so it was confusing me. i couldn't work out how the drum was being held on. fuck me the brake was rooted... cheers anyway!!

i had to get a new bleeder valve for the front drivers side, wasn't bleeding properly. interestingly when i put my foot on the brakes the engine lifted off idle and a big puff of white smoke billowed out the exhaust. this problem has stopped now, but it definately sounds like a vaccuum pump issue ...

ok! so i changed the brake master cylinder and have bled the brakes on my fj40...(82 model, discs on the front) why are they still not working properly? are there other ajustments that are required after bleeding them? also is there a gasket required between the master cylinder and the brake booster ...

yo man, you're on, good to hear from you. yeh man if we can find one with the right bits on it, i'm up for it!!! wanted wider tougher diffs (for sll that city driving you know) i wanted a roll bar too. better suspension. (could be hard to find one with all that on it for the right price :lol:
