If it`s been a hire then it may have been running around in O/D at low speed all the time and cooked it. Alex as pauline hanson would say "please explain" i drive around all the time with o/d on, the only time i take it off is if i am towing heavy loads and o/d wont stay locked in at highway speeds ...
