Thats why i asked the question, no sring lift is going to clear them if the bump stops are still origional, because in theory it can still go back to where it was if it had no spring lift. unless the shocks are acting as bump stops.

Best way of clearing 37's on an 80?
Hey guys im looking for the best way to clear 37's on an 80 series, at the moment it has 3" long travel kit in it with 12" travel shocks.
Will lowering the bump stops 2" be enough, or should i just body lift it?

iv got a mr swagman delux, there expencive but worth every cent, roomy inside, dosnt leak, has top quality rip stop canvas. quality alloy polls. pay 400 plus and you will get a good swag, any less and there made to a price that you will pay for on the 1st rainy night.

another thing to look at is the turbo used, 4wd systems which is a denco set up has a non watercooled turbo, they work just as well, but you really should have a turbo timer fitted as hot shut down damages is more likly to happen then if it was water cooled. also long term i dont see them lasting as ...

as mud 4by said its just an O ring at the end of the mixture screw. get it from toyota as im told its a special rubber to handle the diesel and heat. measure where it is but you still wont get it back right will need a bit of playing around to get right. if you can unscrew it with out moving the ...
