The ZF won't take the torque.
Fit a 700R4 with an adaptor to the LT230.
I bought one from Brian Cotton at LandyOnline (SA). Plan was to fit a Chevy 350/700R4 to the 110 although with gas prices what they now are I may just go for the 4.3 V6.

As for the Chevy swap, for me iit's the only way to go: 350, 700R4, LT230, Toy centers. Heck, even a 4.3V6 will do.

Don't you guys down there have "agreed value" insurance coverage? We have it here: you have the vehicle appraised every couple of years and insure it for that value. You also add any other custom work done to it, as long as this adds to the value. The policy is written with this value so there are ...

fuse #3 blown: no directionals, gauges, rear wiper
1996 110 300Tdi LHD Fuse #3 (15amp) keeps blowing as soon as ignition is on. Electrical diagram for 1997 year shows this fuse controls the line labelled "C" (on the left side, green wire) of the pic below which goes to connector 285. Anyone know where this connector is located? Plan is to disconnect ...

300Tdi intercooler hose diameter?
Anyone know the diameters of the turbo/intake holes? I need to size up new tubing and don't have the truck near me.
Application is 1996 110 300Tdi.

Yes, the plan is to run a small radiator in the space of the old cooler, perhaps with a fan behind it, and an electric pump to circulate coolant not just water. If the PWR 4x6 was the choice I would mount it vertically behind the radiator/fan setup with just two elbows for in/out. - pretty much the ...

Well, getting relevant info from the guys at PWR is difficult. I was referred by them to a Lindsay Fraser who has a kit for this application. At any rate, I hoped to use their 4x6-inch barrel one because of its small size. The only statistic I have on it is the airflow which is more than adequate ...

PWR water air intercooler
Anyone using one of these barrel type coolers in a 110? Will be upgading the stock cooler in my 110 300Tdi and am considering a water cooler.
Their 4-inch diameter by 6-inch long one offers more than enough flow. The question is how good is it otherwise?

110 Tdi w/ZF, anyone?
Presently have a '96 110 300Tdi and desparately wanting a ZF behind it. Anyone have any experience with this setup? The truck is basically a people mover. My hope is to upgrade the intercooler, tune the pump, open up the exhaust, remove cat and get close to performance of my '97 D90 NAS (V8/ZF ...

I need to take a ride in a fellow chap's D90/2.8/ZF and see how much pep that has. Then we'll see what Justin has to say before I decide. They are plentiful here in NPR and GM trucks, and with an automatic.. It's off the line where I need help. I need to step on the "gas" and shift quickly to avoid ...

Since the HP rating of this engine is slightly better than a 300Tdi (120 vs 111) is this good enough to get V8 performance in such a setup? And I don't mean 3.5 carb performance. I was considering a HS 2.8/ZF setup for the 110 300Tdi but that's pretty pricey So, how much do these motors cost and ...
