Yeah, that would confuse the media..... testing parts on a 2wd motorbike with a van body

It'll bend the body for sure!! The body flexes like crazy, and hte doors really help with rigidity.......

That may be so (I have no Idea on that), but that chart had specs for 2003 XL7, Grand Vitara, Vitara 4 door & Vitara 2door. I thought that was the whole range?!?

This is third hand knowledge, but I thought the 5.12 were only in the auto tranny vits? Actually, a quick search reveals that some have 4.3, some 4.625 and some 4.875 as well. Seems to vary greatly between tansmission/wheelbase options. Check current model specs here Would pay to know what ou have ...

Yeah, it seems the width is the big issue. that's why the 10.50s dont' go well. I did a bit of looking, and found that 7.50, (or the metric equiv of 235/85R16) will need a bit of trimming of the rear arch....

Yeah, I hear head gaskets on the 300tdi are common failures about 200K.... Good to hear an easy fix.
