Think i answered your question in the other thread you started. The amount of misinformation 4wd action print is crimnal. Lies about the mods to cars just to make the story sound better. Miss information about products they are reviewing fed to them by the company selling making the product. I used ...

Maybe worth checking the manifolds do interchange. I remember reading somewhere that the in let manifolds were not interchangable. Could well be wrong but worth checking all the same.

How will a synergistic welder make it easyer to do procedure style welding. Clamp meter, tape measure and a stop watch give you the info you need. I have never met a weld inspector that has gone off the machines display. Clamp meter for volt and amperage of the weld. Use the stop watch to time 10 ...

No first hand info. Was talked about on patrol4x4 forum a fair bit and not much positive was said about it. Have you had a look at the ARE website, lot of R&R plus facts and figure to suport their product. Radius fab make inlet manifolds too.

Never used Ewm or seen one. Looking at the specs etc they look like a good machine. Still would be looking for a Fronius. Sure if you keep ringing around various suppliers you will get a better deal or a second hand unit. Oxy repairs have a beautiful Miller Pulse Tig for sale shame it has no wire ...

Miller Xmt350 is millers version of the lincoln v350 pro. The lincoln v350 pro can be run on single and three phase. Duty on cycle on single phase sucked though. Not sure about miller. If the miller is $4700 from the states, taking in consideration tax and freight I would be still looking for a good ...

I would not go near a Kemppi pulse if you paid me. Pigs to set up very sensitive to liner and tip condition. Most aluminum workshops run Fronius for a reason, they are very good. If you can pick a good secondhand unit do it. Cigweld make a good pulse mig. For bigger stuff the Wia CDT450 pulse welder ...

Re: Which Motor
Which motor ? What do you want it for ? When you say economical do you mean to run or convert. Cheapest conversion will be swapping in another nissan patrol engine. I have run rb30 not a bad engine but underpowered for a patrol, can be turboed reasonable cheaply. Good offroad torque could be tricky ...

Pretty sure the Gu non turbo black top have the lighter internals. In other words less capable of handelling much boost 15psi with an intercooler max so i have been told. But then you hear stories of people running a lot more than that. If you can find a factory turbo engine this would probally be ...

How long is a piece of string. Whats your budget. General verdict is the non turbo black top motors are weaker and do not like much more than 15psi boost. Second hand nissan, denco or dts turbo kit $1000-$2000 not a bad gain. I run a denco will sit on 100-110kmph happily most places although not the ...

Denco turbo, lacking power
Got a gq ute 96 model with a 2001 Gu blacktop td42 engine with a denco turbo kit. No intercooler. The other day out of intrest I disconnected the tube to the wastegate. Just to see if the extra boost made any differance. It made no noticable differance at all. Is this because the turbos crap. Turbo ...

The steel for the long arms is seamless and was a special order from a job that was not all used up. Approx 15id and 50od about $50 a meter. Sorry if the measurements are a bit vague I bought it ages ago before I got around to using it.

10amp and 15amp circuits are simuler but not the same. Yes they both run 2.5 mm cable but a 15 amp has one plug per circuit. Where as a 10amp circuit has several plugs running off the same breaker.
