just a crank pulley puller. but you should replace the tensioner, tensioner pulley, idler pulley and water pump while your there... ive done a few timing belts on these and 75% of the tensioners were due for replacement but these were on cars that were used off road, one was full of mud causing the ...

you can buy the bolt up parts from an early 100 98-02 with the 4speed auto(a442f), im bolting a 1uz to an 80 4speed (a440) using the bellhousing ordered from toyota @ $460, torque conver is $1150. engine mounts and firewall are going to be the hardest bits if you would call that hard

what year is the auto out of ? im doing some thing similar atm and have the toyota wiring diagrams.
if your using a late auto it might be eleccy control with means computers,

but basiclly the CDL switch uses some simple relays (or the proper box from the car) and the switch

why would a smaller auto be stronger? the A440f and A442f (4 speed) were fitted in 80's and 100's till 02' and they are used in busses and trucks, the A343f is only better because it is a five speed, not stronger, both are good auto's but like all auto's abuse them and they will reward you with a hu...

so why use rover crra...... in a cruiser, if you want a strong auto and transferr try an A440F out of the 80 series 90' no electrics and strong built by toyota. i pick one up for 500 to put in a rover

why not just use the wiring from the starter relay, that would be easy to find.

most toyota manuals wont give up a location that easy( i ve spent days looking on them for new car stuff )

the guys that service all the mine cars at work weld the piston heaps (heating it up) then let it cool and out it comes, but they also replace the pistons for new ones after
dont loose the seal(2 OF) between the two halfs of the caliper as you cant buy them from anywhere even toyota

i spun a main and kept driving it for 12 hrs straight, by the end it was blowing alot of smoke and oil pissing out of every seal but it still idled purrrrfect as 1u's do, i would just check the pvc system and put a provent(oil catch can) on it

i have seen low mounts used in the past at vicwinch(09 i think) so i would say you can use them it's just at your own dissadvantage , but maybe thay changed it cause they are too slow

having rolled a middy with an frp screen i wouldnt have one again. could never get the snorkel to stay bolted to it very well, and windscreen fitters have all sort of trouble fitting windows to them (if you get one make sure they know its a glass frame!) and they creak and grone none stop when flexi...

LT10s, not sure it's what you'll need but microtech are pretty good with knowing what you'll need, and it will handle boost (was going to turbo/supercharge the 1uz oneday)

yes they do, in fact they should have a wheel alingment at PD.

and keep an eye of the rack end boots if they get a hole in them the rack will rust and your up for a new one :shock:
