Cheap option: Just drill a heap of holes in the tyre, put long bolts through the holes from the inside with big washers, then put a strip of thick strip of rubber over the bolt heads and then tube the tyre. Better than any 4x4 tyre. Good for aerating the lawn as well! Actually it sounded like a ...

Could be the camshaft bearings. A mate rebuilt his motor beacuse it had a similar noise. still didnt fix it, ended up being the cam bearings
