Whats the general coast for a bonnent respray? Im no handy man thats for sure. Could I get the paint in a spray can from auto store, prep site a little and then spray away, if the color matches? Or would that be a shocker? Would applying a paint protector/wax help at all?

Paint fade on bonnent?

Guys, got an 94 80 series cruiser and the bonnent has some serious paint fade to where it looks greyish in color with touches of white around the outside of it.
Whats your best options on getting it fixed? Re paint, leave it as it wont hurt the truck, new bonnent, or something else?

Are these for headlights or spotlights?
What would the price roughly be for the kit?
I have an 80 series with Hella 4000 spotlights, would the kits be suitable for these lights?
Sorry for questions but I'm wanting hid's and these sound like a great product.

By the looks of things I might have exploded my cv's or diff on my 94 80 series. Bloody nasty noise when in high range for normal road driving. All this occured while off road. i'll know more tomorrow after an expection from my mechanic.
Anyone know where to get stronger than standard cv's from and ...

Crap!!!! I'm stuck in my thinking between a disco diesel or Yota 80 series. It will be as a daily driver/tourer/weekend fun machine. My budjet is $20g, so it needs to be moded tyres33's,lift to suit, some bar work, radio and little recovery gear.

looks like a big thumbs up for the 2.8. Value for money at least. If $$$ were no problems the the bigger 4.2 would be the one . With the chip and exhaust it would be fine. has anyone done the gas to it. Is that better than the chip. I heard it was more expensive but is it better.

GU 2.8 vs GQ 4.2 diesels,opinions???

This might have been covered but I struggled to find info. Got around $20g for a truck and the price of the GU 2.8 is attractive but is the problems worht the $$$$, or better to get the gq 4.2 diesel.hard to find a good one..Can get chip for the 2.8 which helps power so it will equal the 4.2. newer ...

so seems the Gu would be the better bet, if you hand say $15 to spend, or the 4.2 GQ. Remember i also want to put a 3 inch lift and 33's, thinking that might hurt the 2.8 too much. Plus there are cheaper gq's out there, and $$$$ saved is $$$$ for mods

yeah i hear u about the performance of the 2.8 but does the engine lack of power gets covered by creature comforts of the GU compared to the gq 4.2 diesel. I guess the GU will be newer as far as year bulit against the GQ, so wear and tear will be less. Will it handle/brake/offroad better than the GQ.

I know how different these 2 trucks are, but looking at each of them and seeing if it's worth getting either of them to suit my needs. I would sacrific comfort for cheaper running costs, or repairs. If theres not much between them both for price, ability, costs of servicing them the 80 will win.
