I fitted one to my GU and removed it after 2000 k's. After fitment it was professionally tuned and made good high power but low was worse than the standard turbo. In the end I spoke to Mark at JPC and he supplied a custom unit (at a very good price) and after tuning performs very well down low ...

a standalone sr20det loom would be a very popular choice. im putting one in an escort and i'd probably get a loom if there was one available and there is plenty of people putting these engines into heaps of different cars.

I still have the standard 4.1's and got it tuned by dieseltec and its fine on road but low range is none existant will defineutly need crawler gears. im my opinion 4.6's will be make it rev to hard on the highway. 4.3's would be a good compromise I think.

Just remember if there is a 12.50" wide trye under the tray. Is it going to be high enough to make the tray useless? my 35's and 4inch lift already do that. but having your spare 35 on the tray takes up to much room. in the end it will only be a few inches higher for alot extra cargo surface area.

The reason i was asking is that you may not need to have a tray made up. There may be an "off the shelf" product to suit your needs. If It's a single cab and you want a shorter tray then you can fit and extra cab tray which will finish about the end of the chassis. Try Fleet trades in capital link ...
