i can scan the instructions i got with mine if you like. i bought the exhaust downpipe at the same time for £65 as i was getting help installing it at someone else's house and didn't want to be foolign around fabbing exhausts. you could make your own if you wanted though.

Just do it, the kit is cheap for an engineered product. Don't forget if you get someone to make you a one off, it'll cost about the same if not more.

Hmmm, not familiar with the A518, but the 318 is a common enough motor over here, not in Jeeps though. Most of ours got the wheezing 4 litre and the fuel guzzling tree puller 360.

not terribly uncommon, just less common than the 4 bolts. can still get recon ones fine.

i think manual boxes may have been pretty similar, but i threw mine in the bin some time ago ...

I spoke to Dickyjoe tonight re the Rangie axles and apparently they DON'T have the calipers on them! He had bought them with the idea of doing the same thing we have talked about but thought it impossible - subsequently by telling him it was he has decided he might just keep them now ...

i have seen 2 4bd1s in lro over the years in pommyville, one was in a genuine pirenti (wide cab one) and the other was in a rangie. the rangie bloke was selling conversion kits. Dont ask me to dig it up, i have most lro mags since 91, and i wouldnt know where to start.

at the moment its running the filter setup that was in there already, from a normally aspirated 2.5 diesel. this was maybe oil bath (i'm not really sure what that means) as it had ...

i have downloaded and printed al the manuals now and shall get back to work tomorrow as i'm finished uni now for summer. in my absence the engine has been running, so hopefully it shouldn't be long. i shall take my camera along and get some pictures too.

tdi's are only stock on newer landies, mine is 1987
engine i have has no turbo, its a bit older then the tdi's and they tend to explode when mated to a turbo.

tdi engines are very expensive and troopers rust here quite quickly so they can be picked up cheap, mine cost me about US ...

seems the land rover pic got chopped off, here it is again

hopefully with the new isuzu engine it sould be able to tackle those hills a bit better. all a bit of a struggle with the landie engine at the moment.
