I swapped a commodore I had with a 4 runner just recently, was like new. Lasted 6 days then I sold it. What a gutless thing they are, I drove it from Newy to sydney twice in the week I had it and could not believe how under powered these things are. To top it off the fuel economy was terrible (about ...

I competed in 4 nissan trials between 2000 and 2005, missed one somewhere there. Used to have a really good time at the trials, from the driving to catching up with mates we had a ball.
The reasons that myself and plenty of mates no longer attend is due to a couple of main reasons 1)Last trials I ...

I put a 351 Clevo in an MQ I had about eight years ago. Also used the Dellows kit. Back then it was about $650 for the whole conversion kit. That included engine mounts, bellhousing, new clutch (11'' I think) and a few other bits. The engine mounts they supplied then were absolute rubbish, I tore ...

We use Plasma or (Dynaline) at work, slightly bigger though 44mm doubled over so its basically a 11.5 metre sling attached to our main tow lines. Breaking load of the 44mm is 235 tonnes. Must be seriously strong stuff. I tried buying through our supplier some 11 or 12mm but price was still up around ...

Mate has second alternator on his 2h 60 series. Fitted new alternator where air con compressor was. very simple installation, has used either falcon or commodore alternators. I think the falcon first then the commo cause it had alot more grunt. Very simple to mount, just minor little bracket made up ...

Yeah they definately look pretty neat, I have seen some seriously bodgy jobs around. I was rapt with the finish of mine, finished all the interior myself how I wanted it, a couple of mates have since done the same. We had them done for less than a quarter of what some conversion places wanted. From ...
