Does anybody know what the code is for, on an RD28T when the glow plug light in the instrument cluster flashes consistantly (like an indicator) for around 20 minutes every time you start the vehicle?

I was wanting to swap my TD42T into an RD28T vechicle but have been told that they have different wiring looms and are not compatable with each other. Is this true and also is there any way around it?.
Cheers.

I don't know a lot about these motors as i've only just bought one i had similar symptoms to those described and found the cause of the problem to be a faulty check valve on the to of the vac pump that bolts on the back of the alternator. hope this is of some use to you.
