Mate i used to have a V6 T700 in my shorty. I have since put in a V8 version. The torque convertor is way too small to handle the torque of the V8. I completely stuffed the convertor in mine. So I now have a strengthened stallie in my shorty.

I have Dobinson's in mine (got them off Dave when he got his new ones) Plus I have extended shackles.
Not as much flex as twisty's but ok all the same. I still have to extend the rear stops to make that end work properly.
After owning these I would'nt go back to a set of off the shelf springs. They ...

I have a T700 with a 60 series transfer case. I rebuilt the auto & transfer case last year & it was the first time a spanner had touched them since the car was built 7 or 8 years ago & they were still nice & tight. I will get under it now just to check now though.

You wont be disapointed with the auto Dave, I have a mate that swore blind he would never put an auto in his car but after coming out with me a couple of times he changed his over a few years back & hasn't looked back since.
I'd speak to a convertor specialist for what you want, as someone pointed ...

The name on the fridge is actualy MEMPHIS. They are 12/24 DC & 240volt AC. They have 12 months warranty & are made in China.
Hope that clears some things up.

The old output shaft was a Marks item ...

I just got pulled the v6 transmission out of my shorty. I had it hooked up to the v8 with an adaptor kit. It had only done 30,000 k's & I had done some damage to a few things & I also trashed the convertor. I got hold of a v8 transmission that needed a reco. I beefed up 3rd & 4th gear clutches ...

I have sold a few dual mass to standard conversions but from memory they were nissan patrol ones, it's been a while since one came through our shop. So might be worth a look, however it's not an option for all vehicles fitted with dual mass gear.
