My hilux has a 2L (2.4) deisel. I did not do the conversion it was like that when we bought it. From the looks of it it still has the 4 speed box with a 5th speed added (thats what my bro reckons anyway). It looks like it goes straight in without 2 much trouble but i wouldnt know. I did this last weekend. U can get them repaired depending on how bad u hiot it.

I had to get a new core. 400$ and took one day to fix.

This should tell u a bit more about cross over steering. This was done by myself and my brother and 83lux onto my 82 lux. Runs beautifully!!!!!

At 400,000 the t-belt warning light came on. How do i disconnect it or turn it off. It does not need a nw one as i put one in bout 5000kms befroe that?
