cheers for the info. sold 60's longs and bought 80 series longs and so far the hi pin diff has taken the abuse fine :armsup: pity i blew the rear carrier pin to bits half way thru a winch challenge :oops: too much foot while bouncing, had a lockright in the rear which is the cause of breakage due to ...

the bar is fitted and i would say its better than the 80 series bar !, fair bit of messing around with mounting but the bar itself is better, has more side protection as the sides come right up and over the bottom of the flares for protection. looks good to. will post a pic or two when i find my ...

cool, so they are all the same size ( 9" ) as the 40 diff just have different Drive shaft to pinion flange bolt spacings... ? ?

crapper, yea was just working out rotation after reversal
and the 80series has a smaller diff crapper to that to
looks like i may be stuck with high angles on my front prop shaft for a while longer.... ahh well, least its strong as hell
