i cannot stop my cruiser from backfiring!
at idle it is sucking fuel out of the main jet somehow, its idling erraticaly and just being a pain in the arse

any suggestions?

they are a waste of time!

dont buy one, they run at about 2-3 psi and the difference is barely noticeable as the alternator is working a lot harder to run the thing and using more flywheel HP, so you dont really gain bugger all

used to use some stuff called viscasil when i was a mechanic, worked a treat and didnt need to clean channels, dont know where ya get it from though sorry, it is quite thick and gooey :lol:

the best tracks should be used, ie pig pen, and the marsh should be closed off to let it recover, dont see why going to black swan should hurt, it is mostly compacted sand tracks and single tracks at that. doesnt make sense to just close the whole lot off :x

raise the back of the bonnet up about half of an inch, this will help draw the hot air out of the engine bay, a common prob in hiluxes :)
