try opening the plug that goes into the lichter socket... There should be a fuse in there, it should read either 12v ** A or 240v **A. I recommend replacing it with a 240v fuse or anything bigger if it is only 12 volts... Thats just a start, i had this query once myself and i kept going through ...

I suppose it would depend on how many times you start your engine over the 2 weeks .. and the actual flow of the pump .. from memory the sub is only 28L .. I find it a pain in the arse to be honest as I always try to keep my sub half full

I have a sequent II system on my 4.2 GU .. Little bit of messin around to tune at the start but works well .. Still have my AUX tank .. Not quite sure if its worth the extra money above other systems but happy none the less!

Just a tip when it comes to 'V' belts and cars .. dont use raw edge cog belts as they are not designed for the enviroment found under the bonnet .. they will squeal once the pollutants work there way into the edge of the belt .. and the best way to find which belt is sqealing is to use a hard soap ...

Just a note on fan belts...the ones without the cogs will tend to last longer...most belts like Gates (they make Harley belts exclusively) and Dayco are all good.

I would suspect the solenoid...That much winching can really cook em...blows the contacts apart.
