reading this... and thinking that the std Toyota wheels are 15x7JJ with a -8 offset, it should actually be possible to have the 33's without them sticking out then? If I understand correctly the greater the 'minus' figure is for the offset, the more the wheels stick out??

Thanks folks.

Thinking about it further, I'll either end up with 32x11.50x15 or graduate to 16" and put 285's on.... that way they won't stick out but still be larger than 31's which is what i'm after.

33x12.15x15 on 4Runner?

Hi All,

just wondered if anyone has run the above size tyre on their 4Runner/Surf? If so, does it stick out beyond the fiberglass arches? - as this is something I want to avoid.

Thank you!

KA24DE - will it bolt right up to the Z24i tranny?

As per the title really? I know the TD27 will bolt right up to the Z24i tranny as will the KA24E. But, I've just come across a KA24DE engine in good nic for a good price and thus wouldn't mind doing the swap from my Z24 engine to the KA24DE... it'll seem like a powerhouse by comparisson... 160bhp to ...

Am I right in also thinking that not enough oil in the car will drop oil pressure? If so, it might seem a simple question but, have you checked you put in the same amount or a little more oil into your car than you drained out of it? Just trying to cover all bases for you on this one.

TD27T mods... what can be done?

Hi folks, I've done a search on the TD27T engine and can't see anything relating to mods on it, aside from chipping the TD27Ti... ..I've driven a Terrano II 2727T and thought it very underwhelming. But this vehicle weighs 500kg more than my WD21 Pathfinder... so I am considering putting this engine ...

New towing truck...?

I have a mate who's just bought a large motorhome/winnebago with a 350k nose/tongue weight. He needs a stronger tow vehicle than a Disco as he's been told the weight will sh*t the polyair bags. I've suggesteed a Landcruiser 80 series with extra heavy duty springs. My question is... with the tongue ...

you should look up ironman's website for specific details re: their kits for their vehicles. They are quite comprehensive in what they show. Harvey, with the pro comp shocker you have to faff about with different bushes to get it to fit. the iron man kit went on straight away. the procomp type were to bouncy for everyday use, the iron man springs are stiffer apparently. I too had the problem you mention on the bushes of the procomp when ...

Markyd what makes you feel that Ironman are way superior to procomp? Procomp springs [from Procomp explorer - where we both know the club shop gets them from] are made by dobinsons springs in Australia. So torsion bars and rear springs are comparable. As for the shocks... correct me if i'm wrong but ...
